Fall Hike to Lantern Hill

Unseasonably warm weather drew us to Lantern Hill for a hike to enjoy the last of the fall colors.  Heavy rains the night before brought down the reds, but there was still plenty of color to enjoy.

Lantern Hill is so named for its milky quartz cliffs that are visible from the Atlantic Ocean.  With clear skies we had a view of the Atlantic from Lantern Hill to the south.
