Work was cancelled today, so we have been riding out the storm at home. It has been getting wetter and windier as the day progresses. The strongest wind gust so far has been 42mph. At about 4.30pm we lost power - we were probably one of the last homes in the area to see it go. We will be firing up the generator very soon! All is well otherwise. We have plenty of beer/wine and a warm house to help us through.
