This week's Face of Produce

The garden is doing very well and the FoP this week features kale, blueberries, tomatoes, cucumber and eggplant. We also have beets coming in and beans are days away!

Shakespeare in Hollywood

We have really enjoyed the first half of the 2015 Granite Theater season. The shows have been great so far and we really enjoy the chance to spend time with Gene and Kathy. Last weekend we dined out along the Pawcatuck River before the play, "Shakespeare in Hollywood". The play was laugh out loud funny and the young woman who played Puc stole the show.

We are looking to the next show I a few weeks when Bruno's parents are here.

New Hampshire Kitchen Update

Over the July 4th weekend we finished installing the kitchen cabinets at the chalet and we are now eagerly awaiting the delivery of the counter-tops. We may be able to have real indoor plumbing soon.....

Hiking in New Hampshire

We spent the July 4th long weekend in New Hampshire at the chalet.  We saw lots of extravagant fireworks (Kokee didn't like the noises much), finished installing cabinets in the kitchen, and went for a hike on Kearsage Mountain (North).  The bugs were starting to subside and it was a great day to be in the mountains....
